A wide range of hot and cold school dinners are provided by Taylor Shaw.
Order forms and money must be returned to the office by the Thursday lunchtime, the previous week. Please note: if your child is off school due to illness, you must telephone the office by 9:15am to cancel a dinner and request credit for another day.
From 13th December 2014, new Food Information Regulations mean that food suppliers are required to declare allergen information about all food sold to consumers. A food allergy involves the immune system; it is a medical condition as opposed to a food preference.
The 14 allergens that must be declared are:
Cereals containing Gluten
Crustaceans and products thereof
Eggs and products thereof
Fish and products thereof
Peanuts and products thereof
Soybeans and products thereof
Milk and products thereof (including lactose)
Celery and products thereof
Mustard and products thereof
Sesame seeds and products thereof
Sulphur dioxide and sulphites at concentrations more than 10mg/kg or 10mg/litre
Lupin and products thereof
Molluscs and products thereof
Taylor Shaw, our school dinner provider, has reviewed the recipes for all menu items and has identified any of the 14 allergens within each dish. A 116 page book of all menu recipes can be downloaded here; a copy is also held at school, which parents are welcome to read.
Please note: It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to ensure all menu choices made for the child are appropriate for his/her medical needs.
